Other Involvement in the Community

Thom has been a long time supporter of his community.

His additional activities include:

Serving as a former Vice Mayor and current Councilor of the City of Seminole

• March 2006

• The City Council provides leadership and guidance necessary for efficient provision of municipal services and effective operation of the City government. Also, Council provides a policy interface with other local, regional, state and federal agencies in matters of mutual concern.

• Former Chairman of The Board of The Lions Eye Institute for Transplant and Research, The largest EyeBank and only combined Research Center in The world.

• Past President of the Suncoast League of Cities

• Serves on (FLC) Florida League of Cities Finance, Taxation & Personnel Committee

• Serves on (NLC) National League of Cities Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relation (FAIR) Steering Committee

• Serves on (NLC) National League of Cities Small Cities Steering Committee

Several Civic Organizations Lions, Exchange Club, Moose,  Elks & KOC

Member of (CERT) Community Emergency Response Team
